The sweetness of steamed kohlrabi…
An original and sweet flavor that will surprise and delight the most delicate palates!
With a zucchini-coconut sauce, they will immediately become inseparable!
– 2 kohlrabi
– 3 small zucchini
– 1 cup coconut milk (250 g.)
– 2 garlic cloves
– 1 teaspoon colombo spices
– 3 tablespoons umebosis, tamari or soya sauce
Peel the kohlrabi and cut them into cubes.
Cut the zucchini into pieces (keep the skin if organic).
Steam the kohlrabi and zucchini for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the sauce:
Stir in the blender coconut milk, spices, cloves of garlic and umebosis.
When zucchinis are cooked, add them to the sauce in the blender.
Pour this delicious sauce on the pieces of kohlrabi… and taste!
This recipe combines well with a steamed rice.
