A vanilla steamed cake, gluten-free…
… smooth thanks to a soft cooking!
… with a fragrance of vanilla!
… a delicate lemon zest taste!
– 150 g. rice flour,
– 50 g. buckwheat flour,
– 16 pitted dates,
– a piece of vanilla bean (3 cm.) or vanilla powder,
– 1/2 teaspoon organic baking soda (raising agent),
– zest of 1/4 lemon,
– 1 tablespoon olive oil,
– 2 tablespoons almond puree,
– 280 ml. water
Blend the dates with a little flour.
Add remaining flour, baking soda, lemon zest and vanilla and mix.
In a container, mix the mixture obtained with almond puree, oil and water.
Use small baking molds or a large one that can fit in your steamer and support the heat. Pour inside the paste of this good vanilla steamed cake!
Steam it for about 25 minutes.
