In the raw food series: a kohlrabi salad with sesame seeds … a delicious salty sweet salad!
A homemade recipe for an original salad, quick to make and that can be prepared in advance!
– 1 kohlrabi
– 2 carrots
– 2 tablespoons lime juice
– 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
– 2 tablespoons teryaki sauce, maple syrup or agave syrup
– 1 tablespoon umebosis or soy sauce, tamari
– 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
– Zest of lime
Peel the kohlrabi and grate it.
Brush the carrots and grate them as well.
Prepare a marinade with oil, lime juice, umebosis and teriyaki sauce.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and lemon zest.
Let marinate your salad at least 1 hour in the fridge, it will be even better!
