A home-made cocoa hazelnut spread, that does not blush in front of the Nutella!
Hazelnut puree, dates, sugar-free cocoa… how tasty!!
Words are not enough to describe this delight…
Ingredients for 1 big pot of home-made cocoa hazelnut spread for gourmands
– 240 g. pitted dates (2 cups, about 34 dates), to rehydrate (soak in 1 and a half cups water (375 ml.) 1 hour before recipe, and even more if possible)
– 3 tablespoons (35 g.) unsweetened cocoa powder
– 185 g. hazelnut puree
– 375 ml. water (Water soaked dates partially absorbed, use what remains)
– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
Kitchen utensil used : Blender
Blend the following ingredients: dates, what remains of soaking water, cocoa powder, hazelnut puree, and vanilla powder.
Mix several times to get a velvety blend without pieces.
