Low cooking, is that ok for chestnuts???
I tried chestnuts cooked at low temperature… and they are very good this way!
Make an incision in the chestnuts and spread them on a baking sheet.
Preheat your oven to 160°C/320°F, place your chestnuts in the oven and lower the thermostat to 100°C/210°F.
Let’s go for 1h10 cooking.

As a bonus: you no longer burn your fingers by peeling hot chestnuts, and no more overcooked chestnuts!!
They are just as soft as they should be!
