Almond sauce…surprising and exotic taste!
To dip vegetable sticks,
or to be served with sweet potato spaghetti…
- 60 g. whole almonds
- 1 shallot
- 1 cm. ginger
- 1 CS. maple syrup
- 3 CS. toasted sesame oil
- 2 CS. umebosis, tamari or soya sauce
- 3 CS. lemon juice
- 3 CS. water
- 1 CS. olive oil
Kitchen utensils used : Blender
- Soak the almonds for about 6 hours*.
- Drain and rinse.
- Put them in the blender first, then add the other ingredients.
For this recipe, I was inspired by this recipe: Sirène Bio: Salade Thai – sauce aux amandes, and I changed it a little bit in my own way.
