Almond sauce

Almond sauce…surprising and exotic taste!

 

To dip vegetable sticks,

or to be served with sweet potato spaghetti

 almond sauce and spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 60 g. whole almonds
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 cm. ginger
  • 1 CS. maple syrup
  • 3 CS. toasted sesame oil
  • 2 CS. umebosis, tamari or soya sauce
  • 3 CS. lemon juice
  • 3 CS. water
  • 1 CS. olive oil

Kitchen utensils used : Blender

 

Preparation

Almond sauce blender

 

  • Soak the almonds for about 6 hours*.
  • Drain and rinse.
  • Put them in the blender first, then add the other ingredients.

 

 

 

 

For this recipe, I was inspired by this recipe: Sirène Bio: Salade Thai – sauce aux amandes, and I changed it a little bit in my own way.
